The number of techniques in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is absolutely dizzying. BJJ is often called a game of physical chess and, like chess, the variety of offenses, defenses and strategies aren’t easily counted or mastered. That’s one of the reasons why it’s such a difficult martial art to master.

The guys from offer a nice variety of techniques from different positions. These short videos (check them out on YouTube) are great because they are useful and the instruction is clear. But they’re also very short and to the point. It’s possible to watch a bunch of these in a short time and soak up the knowledge. I saw a technique in this set that I can’t wait to try on my arch-nemesis in the gym. Hopefully he’s not going to watch these videos in the near future.
