HOP OFF THE "BONES" JONES BANDWAGON FOR A MOMENT TO GIVE PROPS TO ANTHONY ANTHONY ROBLES.

Last week we highlighted 2X All American 125 lb ASU wrestler, Anthony Robles.  This past weekend, he did what he set out to do and won the Division 1 NCAA title, unseating current champ, Iowa's Matt McDonough.

You can watch the full match below.  If you thought Urijah's cornrolls and Jon Jone's mugger vigilante story were epic, you haven't seen this kid in action.  Tilts, baby!!

Suffice it to say, Anthony Robles is the athlete of the hour (maybe the year).

  1. That's crazy. What at first seems like a drastic disadvantage actually almost evens out when you add the factors of the match. The dude looks like a 155 pounder rolling at 125, he moves his hips with insane speed able to sneak his hips out of some tight positions, and his opponent cannot pull off a switch to his right side.

I'm sure the disadvantages, when taking specific moves into account, outweigh his advantages but he really does an incredible job of exploiting his gains rather than the absence of his leg. It's kind of a metaphor for jiujitsu and life.
