DON'T MESS WITH THAT HALF OF KURT OSIANDER'S GUARD.

If you picked a place where I am most happy within the jiu jitsu realm, I would have to say it's the half guard. The half guard is like a snuggie to me or maybe a comfortable pair of pajama jeans. It's a place where I can rest, or I can attack. The half guard is a very diverse and dynamic position that often people either love or hate to use.  Also, it's extremely frustrating to deal with someone that has a good half guard. So today, Ralph Gracie Black Belt, Kurt Osiander, shows us what's up with the half guard.

  1. Kurt rocks. Never met him but I love his demeanor and teaching style. He is like a cross between Clay Guida and Capt Lou Albano.

  2. Seems like a cool guy to train under - dude looks just like my High School computer animation teacher...who also happened to be the wrestling coach.
