WATCH A DOPE ROLL BETWEEN DEMIAN MAIA AND OLYMPIC MEDALIST (JUDO), TIAGO CAMILO.

These days Demian Maia is known as a badass BJJ black belt who fights in the UFC.  That's all true, but the guy's got a 2007 ADCC gold medal, and that's huge.  He's phased out his BJJ and submission grappling competition since '07, but, suffice it to say, he has major grappling chops (and, he's proven that in the UFC too with some great submission victories).

As we often say, you can get a ton out of watching two great grapplers rolling; even as much as you get from instruction on technique.

Check out Maia rolling with Thiago Camilo, a judoka with two Olympic medals to his name (2000 - Silver, 2008 - Bronze).  Those are insane credentials and that's what make this roll so dope.

[Side note: True, they are violating the DSTRYR/SG "Put on a goddam shirt" rule, but we'll make an exception, since Maia trains UFC.]

  1. Even the mats squeak/cry out in Demian's pain...

You need to post a list of all the DSTRYR grappling etiquette rules btw so the world has a place to behold and revere them. :)
