Gettin' yer drag on can have many different meanings. Maybe you're a dude who enjoys dressing up in women's clothing. And, that's cool with us as long you take your BJJ seriously.
But, we're talkin' leg dragging and guard passing. The leg drag guard pass has quickly become the most up-to-date, modern approach to passing the the open guard (including sitting guard, DLR, spider, butterfly, etc.). Many top competitors have illustrative it's effectiveness in tournaments, but none (in my opinion) more than the Mendes Brothers. It's basically something you need to learn. Our friends at The Jiu Jitsu Lab (JJL) have put together a great article and accompanying instructional video covering a wide range of approaches to the pass, as well as some common finishes. Until now, I haven't seen any material as remotely comprehensive. It's definitely a must read/must see (multiple times).
Check out the video below. It's 22 minutes long, so grab a snackie first and settle in for some education.
Side Note: We thank JJL for their great efforts in giving proper attention to some important Jiu Jitsu technique. Check them out for some great BJJ content. It's kind of DSTRYR/SG, only smarter, more sincere and less sarcastic. In other words, they know what they're doing.
