BROCK LESNAR'S WWE KIMURA WOULD CERTAINLY MAKE THE GRANDMASTER PROUD.

I think we all know what a huge fan Helio Gracie was of professional wrestling.  We've all heard many a story about the Gracie clan's elaborate Wrestlemania celebrations/viewing parties.  In fact, I believe it was the great  Rickson Gracie who once said (and I'm paraphrasing):
“My code of life and my personal bushido is honor, respect, loyalty, courage, surrender and Hulkamania.”

So, Brock is back to the real wrestling - WWE.  That's all fine and good, but homeboy needs to crank that keylock a little harder and toward Triple H's head to get me to buy in to it.
Just skip straight to 10:38 for the meat n' potatoes, unless you want to get wrapped in the drama and pageantry first (with a 10 minute setup).  It's nice to see some legit BJJ/CACC has rubbed off on him.

  1. Why is this on dstrysg? Ok, he was in mma, now he's not. I don't see plugs of Rampages A Team movie or something. Lets get back to real jiu jitsu and not this joke.

    1. Note to self: Ze doesn't like to joke around.

Hey, Ze - at least 95% (random guess) of what we talk about here is BJJ/submission grappling technique/competition. It's nice to have a laugh or 2 now and then (at someone else's expense, of course) .

We admire your dedication to hardcore training, though.

  2. I second that. Now while "Pro Wrestling" may seem like a joke with story lines worse than those on daytime soaps (or telenovelas if you will.) The history behind Wrastling is real - and long before it's current entertainment form the Gotch's, Sandow's, and Hackenschmidt's of the world were pile driving and toe holding the hell out of people. So while we often kid, wrestling's historic significance can't be ignored. Also you can't dismiss the fact that Brock is a very accomplished freestyle wrestler who was trained by BJJ Black Belts and Shoot Fighters Erik Paulson and Greg Nelson. So lets hug it out and admire grappling for what it is.
