GRAPPLER, KNOW THY HISTORY: CHUCK NORRIS HOSTS GRACIES FOR SEMINAR BACK IN 1988.

What a lucky break.  We get to watch 26:38 of some sweet, ultra-rare, grainy and heavily aged VHS footage of a Gracie seminar hosted by, the man himself, Chuck Norris in Las Vegas from way back in 1988.  Pretty much all the Gracie's you could think of were assembled:  Rorian, Relson, Rickson, Royce, Renzo and Royler (a few others too, but I can't make them out in the vid). I believe that's Carlos Machado in the group as well (although I don't mention him in the title or banner; this is clearly a Gracie seminar).  It's a pretty awesome piece of history.  If you don't know, Chuck was very instrumental in bringing BJJ to the US. 

At a time like this, I usually talk about how I was still working my bo staff kata and my Ed Parker "star block" and 4-corner cover stance at David Torres' Kenpo Karate in beautiful Pico Rivera, CA back then.  That just how I rolled.  It was all about the jumping front ball kicks and tiger jaw strikes to the groin.  I could go on, but you have 26 minutes of viewing ahead of you, so I'll stop now.
