God, grappler. Sometimes you just frustrate us and it makes it very difficult to continue to be your "go to" badass BJJ/submission grappling website. We try to love you unconditionally, to nurture your "talents" and support you. Yes, we do. But, then you go and "take time off" because of a so-called injury. You say ACL tear, and we say schmay-cee-el tear. Whatever you do, if at all possible, continue to train, despite varying degrees of injuries (you can always vary your level of training, but we should not have to tell you this).
Kurt Osiander knows what we're talking about. He even made a video about taping your toe up real good, so you can stay on the mat and keep training (which is what you're supposed to do). Check it out and learn from a master of real-deal, pipe hitting, glass eating BJJ. Believe me, this dude doesn't take time off to heal up when he gets little nagging injuries.
[Side Note: If you are sitting there in your Aeron chair with a funny offended look on your face, then chill out. We may be exaggerating slightly. Ever so slightly. If you have a real injury and training will likely make it worse, then stop. At the same time, don't be a wimp.]
