Yesterday was Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.  Hopefully, regardless of your religious proclivity, you used it wisely and atoned for all your BJJ sins, like rolling with a disgustingly rancid gi, saying "oss," claiming that the choke you just tapped to was really just "smashing your chin/jaw," kneebarring white belts, taking Rickson's name in vain and/or talking way too much about the how unfair IBJJF rules are on berimboloing.

Of course, there's also the sin of taking Jacare's words out of context in order to get people to visit your BJJ-related website.   Good thing we'd never do that.

Jits Mag did it again with another kickass mini-documentary, this time on BJJ legend, Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza.   So, now that you've wiped the slate clean, it's time to pray to one of BJJ's patron saints, Jacare.  I realize I'm mixing dogmas here, and I'm OK with it.

Before you just wear any gear that anyone has every provided to you, it is best to choose the right product for you. The good news is that most of these items can be very affordable, if you buy the right one and do not have to purchase several over a short period of time.
