MAKE A SPECTEROW OF YOUR OPPONENT.

The spider guard is a powerful tool in BJJ, especially when used in conjunction with other dynamic guards such as the DLR. Today's technique is brought to us by Professor Specterow who is a 4th Degree Ricardo De La Riva Black Belt. He shows us the intricacies of a bicep slicer from the hook guard at CFS BJJ HQ with fellow De La Riva Black Belt, David Onuma.

On another note: of course we know this technique is technically illegal in gi grappling, so don't get your thongs all bunched up. Use your head and find a creative way to use this same sub without the gi - it's possible, believe us.

  3. I think the picture should be changed. That's Hillsborough disaster where 97 people were crushed to death. A few of the people in that photo are almost certainly dead. Unintentional I'm sure but would be pleased if it could be removed.
