HEY, LOOK. IT'S THE GOOD OL' BERIMBRAÇO, JUST LIKE HELIO USED TO DO.

Kickass Art of Chris Kohler
It's seems like it was only yesterday that none of us were so concerned with getting inverted off of the De La Riva guard and taking people's backs.  But, times have changed and bermiboling is part of our daily lives, just like iPhones and Gangnam Style.  And, would we even want to go back?  Back the time when we had to actually turn somebody over to get their back using our arms instead of an elaborate pretzel thing we could do with our inverted torsos and legs.  I think not.  Getting inverted is way cooler and you'll definitelly get a lot more chicks (or dudes, what have you) by applying it.

OK, so we dig b-boloing too, even though we like to give it a hard time and bust its metaphorical balls.  And, I'm sure you do too.  So, your going to love this gem of a variation of the berimbolo created (maybe) by Thomas Oyarzún. [Note: We initially incorrectly reported this as a technique from Pedro Torres.  Our bad.  Apologies Thomas.  All the credit goes to you!]  It's boloing (or, is it berim-ing) straight to the armlock and bypassing the back-take. Extremely slick, which means you'll never get this in competition ... ever.  But, you'll try.
