ROLLIN! MARCELO AND LOVATO JR. MAKING JIU JITSU MAGIC.

I've been told it's not cool for me to say "amazeballs," because I'm not a 16 year-old girl.  But, goddamit, grappler, AMZBLLZ (I made it cooler, right?)!

It's one thing to see to great BJJ athletes rollin' in a private in-studio session.  And, it's another thing when one of those athletes is Marcelo Garcia, arguably the greatest BJJ competitor of this day (and, maybe, ever).  Add Rafael Lovato Jr., one of the best in the world, to mix and now you've got a seriously amazing roll.  This is a must see for any grappler.  100% pure technique.  It's not about who got the better of the other or the score or any of that.  It's about watching 2 great athletes applying their style and technique against the other and watching the whole thing play out. You're actually going to learn something about Jiu Jitsu just watching these two guys go at it for 10 minutes.

Bottom line - best film you'll see all week.  Way better than "Argo" (overrated).

  3. Jjiu jitsu is really incredible! For me, this is the greatest form of martial arts ever. Grappling makes this fun and awesome. Even police officers are using this these days already.

  4. 9 years ++ of training and I watch this like they are doing some other sport.

The details in this roll get better every time I watch it. This had the same type of effect on me as that epiphany I had back when I was a mid blue level player. When I finally knew just enough to see how much better the black belts were than everyone else.

    Damn.
