STUART COOPER FILMS ON RODRIGO CAPORAL: "I WILL TRAIN IN THE GI FOREVER." AMEN.

If it wasn't for super BJJ filmmakers like our colleague Stuart Cooper, we'd be relegated to showing you the standard B-level fare of grainy, hastily filmed post workout technique videos.  You know, the kinds where you can almost taste the sweatiness.  Don't get us wrong, we still love those videos (and, they were our bread n' butter for quite some time in the early years). I guess you'd get an occasional French Canadian Sambo and/or CACC video (from our buddy Martin Roy) and some illegally copied video of IBJJ events as well (that is, until Budovideos shut it down [we're sorry, Budo]).  It would be OK (not really), but guys like Stuart make it great.

Behold, the latest film from Stuart - this time produced in conjunction with none other than Shoyoroll, Gi Soap, Connection Rio and us, DSTRYR/SG.  This time Stuart gives us a brief glimpse into the training life and mentality of BJJ athlete and emerging MMA star, Rodrigo Caporal.  If you take anything away from this film, it should be that we have a fu*king cool-ass animated logo.  Carry on and watch BJJ movies.

  1. Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a martial art and self defense technique that was developed by Carlos Gracie. This technique was originated after experimentations in its parent art Japanese arts. Brazilian jiu-jitsu is also prominently known as Gracie jiu-jitsu and it basically focuses on grappling and ground fighting.
