Well, actually you really do need another De La Riva sweep. I think it was the Grandmaster Helio G who once said (and as always, I'm paraphrasing): "The only good Jiu Jitsu is the really fancy, boutique kind that requires the agility of a 9-year old Romanian gymnast and the flexibility of a male ballerina." Or, it was something just like that.
De La Riva guard is here forever. So, don't avoid it. Don't be that guy that refused to pay for a smart phone until late 2012 or the the other creepy older lady that still writes checks at the Trader Joes in the 15 Items or Less line. It's too late to be an early adopter, so just settle for being a regular adopter.
Thanks to Shoyoroll and GB black belt and world champ, Lucas Rocha, for this very clean and seemingly gettable DLR sweep variation. Drill it and add it to your arsenal.
