THE DAY DEAN LISTER BROKE YOUR ARM FROM THE GUARD IN LEICESTER (THAT'S SOMEWHERE IN ENGLAND).

That pretty much says it all, grappler.  Our work here is done.

Well, anyway.  Dean Lister is legend in our book.  He's not only a phenomenal conventional BJJ athlete, he's also got amazing no-gi grappling skills, with a definite CACC influence (I'm sure my colleague, Demolisher, could tell us a lot more about that).  And, that makes his ground game unique.  He attacks from various angles with submissions your standard pro-level grappler would not conider.  Case-in-point, this handy dandy Americana-type shoulder lock from the guard.  This attacks kicks ass - not only is it sneaky, it also requires a great amount of skill to properly trap your opponent in an inferior guard position.  That's excellent practice for anyone, even high level guys (and gals).

Special thanks goes out to our good friends at Leicester Shootfighters in Leicester, England.  They kindly shot this video technique and pointed in the right direction.  And, yes, we do know where Leicester is.  It's somewhere in England.
