LISTEN TO ROBSON MOURA AND STOP SUCKING AT TOURNAMENTS.

Sure.  Everyone will tell you that it's not about winning tournaments that matters.  It's getting out there and competing.  It's the act of putting your skills to the test that really helps "up" your level in BJJ.  Win or lose, you come out a better grappler.  You know where weaknesses are now.  It's the experience that counts.

But, really, you wanna win the damn thing ... and in glorious fashion.  You know it's true. No need to be all Buddhist about it.  Even Rickson, who is credited as for saying "Sometimes, you don't have to win. You cannot win. But that has nothing to do with losing" ... even Rickson, never really faced this "not winning."  he won all the time.

Bottom line: losing sucks.  Sure, you make the best of it.  You learn from it.  But, winning.  Winning is f*cking cool.

Enter Robson Moura (he knows a lot about winning) and this kickass primer on tournament preparation, brought to us by Jits Magazine.
