Catch Wrestling prides itself in being direct, efficient, and simple, which is the opposite of what most people think when the word CACC comes up. The most common visual is someone grinding their elbow into your face or the gnarly idea of being fish-hooked. While those things do happen in catch at the more elite levels, the basics are heavily drilled and emphasized. The framework from which CACC is built from goes back thousands of years and to this day we can see its modern influences everywhere.

Today we bring you a simple and direct technique from a position that is all to common to us grapplers- the "over-under." Gregory Hall, whom is both JKD practitioner and a student of the Legendary Bolton wrestler Tommy Heyes breaks down the over under and displays a beautiful takedown from this tie up.
