The real quote from The Cicero (the philosopher):  "A man of courage is also full of faith."
Cicero Costha is not necessarily a household name in BJJ, but this man obviously has some keen skills, especially as a coach. He's bred three of the top competitors in the game in Paulo and Joao Miyao and Leandro Lo.  It only goes to show us, especially those of those of us in the US and Europe, that there are many many great coaches in Brazil and spread throughout the world whose names and talents are not widely known to us.

Speaking from my own experience, my coach is Renato Magno, and you may not have heard of him.  In Southern California, he's pretty well known, having come up from the Machados in the early nineties.  But, I wouldn't expect every grappler I meet to know of him and his great coaching and mentoring skills.  Jiu Jitsu is vast and, if your like me, you value your coach like a brother or even a father.  And, fame is irrelevant.

Here's to coaches.  They make all of us better ... at choking people.

Now, watch this badass mini-movie thing from BJJ Hacks
